Mother's Day, in the form we know it today, began to be celebrated at the beginning of the 20th century in the USA. This holiday arrived in the then Czechoslovakia in 1923 thanks to Alice Masaryková, the daughter of our first president. Since then, the second Sunday in May has belonged to all mothers.
