Printing on laminated bags is a precise technological process that requires careful handling and adherence to exact procedures to achieve a perfect and durable result. For bags with a glossy lamination from the Monza LESK and Milano ranges, the smooth surface demands the utmost attention.
After the printing ink has been applied, the bags are first left to dry on drying racks for at least 24 hours and then pass through a curing oven, which perfectly sets the ink on the surface and ensures its high resistance to abrasion. Matt lamination from the Monza MAT range, on the other hand, offers naturally better adhesion, allowing the ink to bond more deeply into the material, meaning that the curing process in the oven can usually be omitted.
Given these higher technical demands and the need for greater care during handling, printing on laminated bags is slightly more time-consuming and costs a little more than standard eco-kraft bags – but the reward is a flawless, premium and prestigious product.
Textile bags
For printing on natural and white cotton bags, you can use screen printing, DTG or DTF technology. With traditional screen printing, we use exclusively water-based, easily biodegradable inks that contain no plastisols or solvents, ensuring that the bag fully retains its purely eco-friendly character.
If you opt for DTG and DTF digital technologies, you gain a solution for diverse and visually complex designs. When printing on coloured fabric bags, we use DTF technology exclusively, as it is the only method capable of ensuring perfect coverage and vibrant colours even on darker or more distinctive backgrounds.
Hot foil stamping – striking lettering and logos
For our more discerning customers, we also offer hot foil stamping on luxury bags. This allows for the application of gold, silver and other colours with a high-gloss finish. The lettering and logos look exceptionally striking and exclusive on promotional bags.

A special magnesium die is produced for stamping, which can be used free of charge for repeat stamping-
The standard colours are glossy gold and silver. Additional
colours can be ordered on request – Embossing is only possible on the front and back. The margin for embossing is 2 cm from the sides, the bottom edge of the bag, or from the glued-on handle or top reinforcement. We’d be happy to provide a FREE print preview.

Flexographic
printing We offer flexographic printing for orders of 1,000 pieces or more, and can print up to 20,000 pieces, for example. We use flexographic printing to apply simple, single-colour designs to white or brown kraft paper bags with twisted or flat handles. We are able to print a maximum of two colours in a single design. However, the colours must not be printed too close together.
Flexographic printing is not possible on coloured kraft bags, luxury laminated bags or bags with drawstring handles (for example, Sieny).
Flexographic printing press
This is an elongated machine into which the printer feeds the promotional bags one at a time from one side. As the machine prints relatively quickly, the printer must precisely centre the promotional bag within a short space of time.
The promotional bag then passes between two rollers – the larger roller has a printing plate affixed to it, whilst the smaller roller acts as a counter-pressure roller.
As the promotional bag lies loosely on the conveyor belt, the design may shift during the process. Such shifts of up to three millimetres are still within the tolerance of this technology and must be taken into account in the final print quality. However, a second printer checks for larger deviations and the overall accuracy of the print at the end of the machine, immediately rejecting any bags with poor print quality.
Bespoke production – printing technologies – flexo, offset, digital
For more specific customer requirements (full-surface printing, multi-colour printing, CMYK printing on laminated bags, spot varnishing, etc.), we offer bespoke promotional bags, including full-colour promotional printing. It all depends on your requirements.
We can supply machine-made paper bags with flat or twisted handles. We print this type of promotional bag using flexo or offset printing. We can
also offer the production of luxury, hand-assembled paper bags with fabric handles. We print luxury bags using offset printing only.
