This pulp is actually waste mainly from furniture manufacturers, natural forest thinning, stumps or from infected trees. This means that no hectares of our forests are drastically or illegally cut down for production.
Although paper production requires a certain amount of energy and water, ecological paper bags are still considered gentler to the environment. This is also due to the fact that they are fully recyclable. This means that the paper from which they are made allows their further recycling through standard recycling processes.
