A few words about us
We’re an online shop, a manufacturer, a wholesaler and a warehouse. We also do printing. And everything we do revolves around paper bags – whether machine-made or luxury bags, printed or unprinted. That’s our speciality.
How did it all begin? Quite innocently, in the late 1990s, at an offset printing works. Since then, we’ve worked for several companies and held various roles, until we moved into paper bags and packaging in 2008 – a sector we’ve stayed in ever since and decided to specialise in. From small orders of 100 pieces to large ones running into tens of millions a year.

We really do understand printing, the print industry and the paper bag business. But above all else, we pride ourselves on providing first-class service, so that our customers leave fully satisfied in every respect. We are people for whom serving our clients is a passion, a job and a way of life.
Every day, we think about how and what we can do better. We love innovation and aren’t afraid of change, provided it brings progress and boosts our competitiveness and that of our business partners. We currently use several flexographic and screen printing presses, as well as digital printing, and we’re constantly improving or expanding our capabilities.

Company history
We are a team with 20 years’ experience in the printing industry, specialising in the production of paper and fabric bags. We utilise several types of printing technologies – screen printing, flexographic printing and digital printing – delivering the highest quality, quickly and reliably.
2007
Setting up a business
The company was founded in 2007. Since its inception, it has been one of the fastest-growing companies in the sector.
2009
The first online shop, TAŠKAHNED.cz
We are launching our first online shop in the Czech Republic. We are introducing online shopping for orders of 100 items or more, and expanding our warehouse capacity to ensure fast dispatch.
2014
In-house printing line
Introduction of printing in up to 6 spot colours and CMYK. Shorter lead times, higher and more consistent quality.
2017
Moving to Hostivař
2017 saw the company move to new warehouse and production premises in Prague-Hostivař, thereby increasing both capacity and operational efficiency.
2019
Logistics automation & larger stock levels
Modernisation of machinery and strengthening of our dispatch department. We maintain a long-term stock of approximately 3,000,000 bags and serve over 10,000 customers a year.
2022
Entry into the Slovak market
We have launched the taskahned.sk online shop, thereby extending our services to the Slovak market as well.
2023
New DTF printing technology
In 2023, we installed a new, revolutionary DTF (digital transfer) printing technology for printing on cotton bags and T-shirts.
2025
The ‘Print in Advance’ programme
Expansion of printing capacity with new digital presses and accessories. More competitive prices and the option to book capacity during off-peak periods (spring/summer), with the option of rapid reprints during the peak season.
2026
New online shop & order management system
Faster order processing, clearer print configuration and quick quotations. Optimised order tracking.
Why we fell in love with paper bags
Every member of our team was aware of just how big a problem plastic carrier bags pose for our planet. Plastic takes up to 400 years to decompose in the natural environment, and bags and sachets made from it have become so widespread that we use them even when it is unnecessary. Our vision, therefore, was to set up a company that would specialise in paper bags. These are recyclable and do not leave as large an environmental footprint as plastic. We decided to replace plastic bags with paper ones and to enable others to make this change too.
Today, thanks to our vision, we fulfil orders ranging from as few as a hundred items to as many as tens or hundreds of thousands. Together with our customers, we are contributing to a change for the better – towards a world where paper replaces plastic.
