stamping Where standard printing is not enough, hot foil stamping comes into its own. This premium technique works by transferring a metallic layer using heat and pressure. A specially manufactured metal die (stamp) featuring the design is heated to a high temperature and, under high pressure, presses a thin foil directly into the paper’s surface.
In this way, gold, silver and other high-gloss colours can be applied. As a result, lettering and logos not only acquire a perfect metallic sheen but also a subtle tactile relief, giving them a truly exceptional and exclusive appearance.
Due to the technical specifics of die production, we assess each graphic design individually, as it is not always possible to produce a die for some very complex or overly detailed designs.

Disadvantages of hot stamping

Cannot be used for large areas or small text (fine lines, minute details)
- Cannot be used on machine-made bags
- Cannot be embossed in multiple colours (try screen printing the bag instead)
- Cannot be combined with printing
- Cannot be used for larger print runs of 1,000 pieces or more
